Sussex Farmhouse

This grade 2 listed property is part of a working farm, nestled within the Sussex countryside. The main garden was designed by Todd Longstaffe-Gowan and our work involved extensive hard and soft landscaping.

A new steel edged gravel drive was constructed, creating a sweeping approach from the farm road into the heart of the property, through wild flower meadows and past a variety of beautiful old farm buildings. Reclaimed York stone flagstones played a prominent part in creating paths and terraces around the property, together with cobble flint retaining walls. We also carried out restoration works to the existing garden flint walls as well as carrying out brick and flint facing to the new sections of the property.

A flint faced ha ha was constructed to provide wonderful views from the house to the meadows, a new York stone terrace laid to update the pool area. A fantastic project made very enjoyable by working for a very committed and enthusiastic client.
