Nottingham

This project in the Nottinghamshire countryside was another fantastic opportunity to work with landscape architect Jinny Blom. Following on from extensive restoration of the house, our work involved a combination of both hard and soft landscaping.

A new front drive layout, using steel edging and a gravel surface, was created to give a full carriage sweep. This leads to the main stone entrance that we restored and extended. Elevated Breedon paths were constructed with sawn Yorkstone steps leading down to a formal lawn, framed with gravel paths and borders.

Reclaimed, and new stone steps were used together with 2” brick pavers to construct the sympathetic courtyard layout to the rear of the property.
