The Chelsea Flower Show 2012 provided us with the chance to work with Cleve West on the Brewin Dolphin garden. Cleve was keen to explore the use of formality and symmetry incorporating the use of reclaimed stone to create the right feel for each space.
Much of our preliminary work was carried out with Cleve in Gloucester experimenting with materials, searching for the right proportions and textures. Working with reclaimed materials can often be very challenging but equally satisfying. The result for the team was a space that had undeniable atmosphere and we were really thrilled when the garden was awarded with a gold medal and ‘Best in show’.
